The first 4 seconds is a wide shot of are protagonist, Gus, who is walking up to something unknown to the audience at this point.
The clothes, props and environment show that he is meant to be perceived as a normal person with no significant skills or profession.
The character then pulls up his car key and then presses it, the focus on this shows to the audience that the car/car key is of some significance.

We see a shot that starts with the focus on the ordinary, which is presumably Gus' car, but then the camera pans quickly over to the police car next to it. We can see that the focus switching meaning that this is unexpected and the protagonist expected the ordinary car to unlock but instead both cars did.
The pan to the left is done in time with the additional sound effect of a police siren, this immediately give connotations of police.
The camera movement is presumably matching the movement of the characters head and vision, this is seen by the fast pan to the police car. This is done to show the audience who the video is following as the main character.
0:05 - 0:14
There is a shot reverse shot between the main character and the two cars, with the main character constantly pressing the key and the cars giving off an unlocking sound. This back and fourth shot shows the confusion of the protagonist and that he is checking if it was him that unlocked the police car.
0:14 - 0:20
Here we see a slow zoom into the protagonist's face, from a wide shot to a close up. To show the switch in focus from the cars to him, the zoom also relates to the idea that he is thinking what to do and specially what to do with his keys as he is looking at them.
As this is happening the character is looking at his car key but then quickly looks up with a smile on his face. This shows that the character has realised the situation he is in and what he can do, he then starts nodding and says "Oh yeahhh" showing that in his mind it is a positive thing and that he is excited about what he can do.

We then get a sudden jump to the next show which is out of focus, this leaves the audience in mystery for a few seconds as the do not know what he did. The shot being out of focus shows that something is going come in focus.
This is also when the music begins to play.
0:20 - 0:24
We then see the police car drive slowly past with the protagonist inside the car. Showing that he has made the decision to take the car, he is also wearing a police officers uniform showing that he is also impersonating a police officer rather than just taking the car.
The video cuts and jumps in time with the music making the jump from a realistic scene before hand to a more comedic and music based scene.
He is also sitting in the car with one arm resting on the door and looking out the window with shades on. Showing that there has been a switch to a direct mode of address as he looking directly at the camera. It also showing that the character is not taking this seriously and that he is gonna keep messing around which is shown by his casual attitude.
0:24 - 0:34
In this time frame we get a variation of shots that show the character driving the car, the character still expresses the casual attitude and it is further explored in these shots as he is seen nodding along to the music and dancing in the car.
All cuts are in time to the song and there are many moving shots that line up with the music as well.
0:34 - 0:49
The next series of shots are a wide shot of the protagonist dancing around the car in slow motion, this relates to the genre of music being a hip hop/rap music video were the character is dancing around the car.
The character also uses a variation of props that are stereotypical for a police officer, like a police baton and donuts, the character is seen to be messing around with them by throwing them in the air.
There are some cuts away from him which are back to the car driving on the street but instead focusing on the siren of car.
0:49 - 1:05
The next scene involves a man robbing a women in the street, the first shot is off his gun and then him trying to still the women's bag. Then it cuts to a reaction shot of Gus in the car. Instead of trying to help the woman he helps the robber and gets him in the car.
Many of the cuts are in time with the music and the introduction of the gun is done with a close up shot. The actual robbery itself is done within a mid shot that then goes wide when we get Gus' reaction in the Car. Then we get a framed wide shot of the action presumably meant to be showing what Gus sees.
We also get a series of wide shots of the women protesting the police officer for helping the robber rather than her. That cut in time with the music.
1:05 - 1:19
The next series of shots matches the earlier as it has the robber and police officer dancing in front of the car and using various props to show their casual and reckless attitude. All of these shots are done in a direct mode of address.
The robber is dancing with a construction helmet on and dancing around with a gun, the police is doing the same but in certain scenes is seen drinking beer and showing it off to the camera.
1:20 - 1:38
The next series of shots revolve around the robber and police officer going after another criminal.
It starts with a wide shot of the two characters walking out of a store with a the police car next to them. Then the robber points to something off screen and it cuts to a close-up of the number plate of the car saying "Drugs in Car" this makes a joke about the drug war in America and how the police are highly focused on that.
There is then a slow motion arrest of the driver and shoving him in the back of the car.
1:40 - 2:00
The characters then pickup a hitch hiker and he joins there crew, there is a wide show of the hitchhiker on the side of the road, which is done as a character introduction.
They then get a spray painter kid in their crew, who is introduced with a close up on the can been shook and the police car pulling up in the background.
2:04
There is a wide shot of all the faces of the character apart from the graffiti artist, this wide resembles a poster shot that would be seen in TV dramas.
All the characters are wearing character identifying costumes, that appear highly different from the others.
2:13 - 2:26
We then get another montage of wide shots of the characters messing around the police car in slow motion. It shows all the characters dancing and throwing up gang signs around the car.
2:26 - 2:45
We get a sort of flashback to how all the characters ended up in the police car, showing the earlier scenes mixed into the montage.
2:45 - 2:55
The characters then go back and help the women who was robbed in the earlier scenes, this is done through a series of wide shots all in slow motion, we later get close ups on the women when she is dancing on the police car signifying that she has joined the crew.
2:55 - 3:12
It then cuts back to the first scene with Gus and his keys. The cut is in time with the real police officer brushing past him, the music also stops in time with the cut. This showing that the entire music video had been a daydream and none of it happened.
When the real officer gets in his car it is done to the music and in the same editing style as the rest of the video showing that the officer himself is like Gus and does not take it seriously.
The police officer himself is wearing a stereotypical aviators to match the rest of the music videos stereotypical message.
